The Magic Tree House!
- You will find here the whole series of original illustration covers for the Magic Tree House (french edition) up to 50th volume. All episodes have been illustrated by Philippe Masson, Paul Siraudeau added colors and light to the lines. If you are interested in acquiring some originals please use the contact form.
- Click the images to enlarge them! Each image shows the scaned original with a featured detail, the references I wrote on the work lower margin, and also a photo of the published book .
- Each original is signed on the reverse or on the down right corner.
- Covers are sorted from the later published, down to the first one.
- Some elements have been added on n°33 and 38 when the editor proceeded to publishing, so these are not figured on my original paintings. A color has been modified by the editor on covers n°22 & 44.
Starting with N° 50 The illustration size for the covers is back to a simple pocket format, the design is brand new.
Before N° 50 the format is "à l'italienne" (Larger than high) with an inner flap, so cover illustrations are larger and more detailled.
Before episode n°24 , there was no flap part to the cover. Illustrations were pocket book sized "à la française" (Higher than large), from N° 1 to N°23.
